I've seen a price of 1 million given for Cousins. If we paid Charlton the quoted 1.25 I doubt we'll get much more- he's not done much for us.

We won't be getting Cahill because we don't get mercenaries on high wages anymore do we? That is what we have been told. We give youth a chance and then move or get decent signings like Freeman to be sold to Fulham.

Yes but he's playing in a poor team at the wrong end of the table on a set wage. This is what ive been trying to get at. Higher placed teams who look to be actively progressing will want him and amongst others maybe Robinson and smithies. Why oh why would you want to stay at a club lacking any ambition.
I honestly think the ambition this season is to stay in the Championship whilst balancing the books. I could live with that if the style of football was better.
