Had Carvo been our manager in the summer, he'd be first choice midfielder I reckon. Mesa didn't fit Clueless Clements way of play, hence why he froze out Leon.
If we can't find the players who will truly make a difference would rather: Buy average / loan players at very inflated prices or Buy / loan no one?
Bloody hell, Gaitan has said 'no'. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport.../swansea-city-dealt-massive-transfer-14215643
ugh...tbh he has turned down a load of clubs and he has turned us down at half a million quid a month. Would he be a prima donna if we did land him, would he be ready for a fight?
Yeah, doesn't sound like a great addition. I guess we're going to have to fight with who we have. I reckon we can slug it out, just about, if we keep our current form.
Read some comments - barely more effective than Routledge. He's injured and there is no sign of him being fit anyway. Complete waste of time IMO. Where are the full backs and creative players? None even mentioned. Leon is looking at retirement & Mesa, our only other footballer in midfield, has gone. No left back cover, if Olsson cant keep going the season really is over. Carroll and Mawson were turned inside out by Notts players.
Swansea City and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are in talks with Liverpool over a deal to sign forward Lazar Markovic. The 23-year-old Serbian, a £20m signing by then manager Brendan Rodgers from Benfica in summer 2014, has no future at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp and has failed to feature this season. Now Swansea City and Wolfsburg have opened discussions over a transfer, with both permanent and loan deals under consideration for a player who has had loan spells at Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon and Hull City in recent seasons since falling from favour at Liverpool. Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow have also been linked with Markovic, who is hoping for a move before Wednesday's transfer deadline to re-ignite his career.
What does Jenkins do? We need this ****er out of our club ASAP. Link: http://www.maxwellhicks.com/2018/01/28/what-do-you-do-exactly/
just surprised anyone thought it would be any different, we needed players in at the start of January and/or as soon as Carvahal identified what he wanted, but to be honest there have been no real genuine links to anyone, all bullshit in the papers probably put out by the club so they could say they tried to sign good players when in reality there was no hope and they were never interested in them at all. If we sign anyone it will be a last minute thing on actual deadline day and probably a loan. The club is full of bullshit and as much as it would upset fans would prefer them to come out and say we aren't buying anyone and we have to go with what we have at least we would know. Carvahals comments that he believed we had enough to stay up even if we don't sign anyone was and admission that we don't intend to sign. What does worry me is weakening the squad even further when it had no depth before. But what we have is what we have and hope they can do something, I doubt it though with everyone else actually strengthening their starting 11's yet alone their squads.
Hasn't played since November and we wanted to offer him £120,000 a week? We need players that are ready for a scrap, not players coming over for a huge pay check.
Yet again it looks like we will leave it to the last second and panic buy to the tune of £18m for Ayew......He is not worth £2m ffs.....We never learn.....
Our club is beyond a joke, run by utter clowns, you really couldn't make any of this up, cannot see us surviving this mess, all going pair shaped, the whole board of directors should be placed in padded cells, ****ers the lot of them.................
I think we will survive myself and i will be glad for the fantastic support we have....But inside i dont want the club benefiting by scraping home and secretly on a personal level i hope we get relegated and keep sliding down the leagues until these morons are gone...
Sturridge to West Brom. Delafou to Watford. Stephen Dobbie to Swans maybe? We are going to go down without opening the chequebook. Christ Huw, even if it bounces.. write one.
Unbelievable that we are throwing in Ki in the Ayew deal, the club have lost all sanity, absolutely bonkers deal, what the hell is this fixation with Ayew? I thought this was all media speculation, but it's now on Sky, the club has seriously lost the plot, Jenkins should be sectioned!..............
