    He's got Birmingham City tattoos all over him - going to West Brom or Villa would be unthinkable. It would be like us having a striker who was a lifelong Luton fan.

    Still nothing even half concrete coming in and only 48 hours to catch a decent fish.

    I doubt we can right the wrongs of our current form with the players who are fit.

    It's going to be a tough slog from now on. But we might just make it!

    That’s the word from the ever-reliable (and incredibly hard-working) Fabrizio Romano. The Barcelona winger, who has played in the Premier League for Everton, is having talks with the Vicarage Road club right now with both parties expecting few hitches.

    Sky Sports News understands that if, as now looks likely, West Bromwich Albion complete the loan signing of Daniel Sturridge from Liverpool for the rest of the season, they will end their interest in Watford striker Troy Deeney.

    Our problem is someone up front to find the net plus a strong C/B to help to stop them going in BUT it is said we are trying to get 2 more players on top of Gerard .But why o why do we leave it until the last few days with all the deals ??
