Actually, an old mate that I haven’t seen for many a year was Tony McPhee. He customised an old Stratocaster into a 9 string. I did ask how it was tuned, ****er wouldn’t tell me!...
That's cool mate. Mr T Mcphee sounds like I should know who he is. But Mr Guinness got my ear first so I hope you're mate's not offended.
Those guys were quite a bit older than me, but they helped me out when I was getting started with recommendations etc. Pete, especially was a great help. And yeah, great, tight band.
Saw Nils when he was backing the Boss at Wembley back in 87 or 88. Worked with a guy who'd **** himself stupid everytime Tod Rhungen was mentioned. Never got that myself.
To me it feels like you amongst others are desperate to isolate Hiag from the PL board. You'll stick your head up anyone's arse so long as they fronting up to Hiag. He's bothered you, that much is clear to see To wind you up is easy too...Hiag did it years ago, you're still not over it
Hiag has never wound me up mate all those drugs have addled your brain. but you keep on watching Hiags back, it’s very touching your love for him
Todd Rundgren's always had his absolute devotees, for some reason. Maybe because his solo stuff was quite unique, he's a bit like Marmite. I wouldn't go mad for his stuff myself, but when you look at the list of artists he's worked with and produced, it's obvious he's hugely respected in the business, by an extremely wide range of people and genres.
