Caught the 15.37 from Paddington - it went via Gloucester.

I had wanted to catch the earlier train to avoid any possibility that there would be any of them aboard.

Five years back I was on a train back from London when a gangs of them got on in Bristol.
They were disgusting - swearing, making sexual comments about women who had small children with them, threatening etc. Transport police gathered in the carriage vestibules did f' all.
I and a couple of others told them to behave. I was wearing my Swans T shirt and that got their attention. Fine by me but my wife was really nervous. Another Swans fan pushed through to join me and they just verbally attacked us and were threatening (in this situation I found laughing and pointing confused them & whispering in one gobshyte's ear, 'Make my wife cry and I'll rip you're f****** head off' took the thug by surprise. Was I being big or hero? Of course not these were Cardiff yobs.) But they got milder and milder as one group left after another in Newport, Cardiff and Bridgend - after Bridgend only the dregs were left (7), and they backed down and were looking for seats. Four got off in Port Talbot. Then plod decided it was time to act!
One woman laid in to one of the boys in blue and was threatened with being put off the train.
I'm not sure who I had more contempt for - the yobs or the police.

Wouldn’t surprise me if we got another replay from that - assuming we beat Notts county.

Crazy draw, only 1 (potentially 2) all premier league ties.
