Skysports.com understands Jimmy Bullard is set to have a medical at Ipswich as he nears a return to Portman Road. The 32-year-old midfielder is now a free agent after Hull City started the process of terminating his contract at the KC Stadium, which still had two years left to run. Wolves and QPR have also been strongly linked with the former Fulham and Wigan playmaker, while Blackburn boss Steve Kean also admitted he would be interested in signing him. But Bullard is now seemingly keen on joining Ipswich, where he impressed on loan during the second half of last season. Thoughts??
hes a twat and now he's on a perm at your place he will find the nearest boozer and be on your injury bench for the next two years.
Speaking as one of the poor bastards that went to Peterborough, I will be delighted if we sign anyone that can improve our pathetic midfield, I dont include Andrews as being pathetic. If we can strengthen our midfield then they should be able to provide more cover to our joke of a defence. Im a bit slashed off can you tell?
About as risky as any other signing. Could go well, could suck donkey dick. Have to wait and see. History is in the past, let's see what he does this time around.
I don't buy this stuff about the bad influence - PJ is no fool and will know Jimmy Bullard inside out and if he chooses to join Town that definitely means he wants to play football.
IF IF IF it happens, and even if it goes wrong, it won't be as much of an issue for us as it was Hull ! Lets hope its true Press conference put back an hour tomorrow also... !
When he arrived last season he was an extremely positive influence so i can't see a problem Bowyer with the bite Bullard with the Beauty.......
Wahoooooo! BIG step in the right direction but by no means solves all our problems Andrews, Bowyer and Bullard comes pretty close to the best midfield in the league, kinda wish we'd signed Kaspers Gorks though
WCP Yeah but he does have a point!!! Bullard can be nothing but a pos signing and agreed that Bullard/Andrews/Bowyer are three very strong midfielders, sadly there is a weak link to throw into the mix.........
Loads of players who have moved that i rate but no use wistfully gazing out of the window thinking what could of been..........
