You cannot see past your own passive aggression. You name call, have name called back and cry foul. Bored of trying to reason with you

Read my post again. I said “he may”... it is just that I am prepared to consider why he did these things.

You simply won’t and are seeing it as black and white. No give.

We both think he is not the man for us, yet what is wrong with considering why things happen rather than outright damning them?

I really think that I am not the one who needs to get a grip. I have a firm grip. People like you who lose their **** and refuse to see anything but bad are the ones needing to use two hands to grip. :)

Mate you haven’t tried a debate with me once.

Put your prejudice against me down (I’m ok if you don’t like me, but try putting it down once) and have a discussion. I believe you are not bored just realise that what I have said is probably close to the truth. You won’t see anything but bad.

What name did I call you?

I’m not even in the camp if he isn’t the one just yet. I think providing we stay up, which I think is very possible, I think next season will be pretty good.

I think we will draw v Brighton and beat West Brom. I doubt I will be on here Weds pm. :emoticon-0175-drunk

I would say the home matches before Christmas. Winnable games keep being lost / drawn by the same mistakes. The issue for me is that he doesn't learn from the mistakes. He looked like he was improving things early in the season but I am afraid I am losing confidence by the fact that we always play one forward up front at home and it has become increasingly clear that MP2 is unable to change the fortune off matches with tactical changes. I think the latter is the most disappointing aspect as there is clearly a lack of nous and a propensity to be out-thought by the opposition's coaching staff is. I don't know what the answer is because I have no idea who I would replace him with. Personally, I would like to see Koeman back but this would not be popular with a number of fans.

If anything, the club seriously needs to review it's appointments in the summer. Maybe it is time for Les Reed to go? The shame is that we had previously found a "magic formula" but have not replicated it since Koeman's department. The days of Poch seem long gone. Player recruitment also needs to be reviewed as well as the performance of the academy. We just seem to have become too complacent.

I just want someone who wins really.

Pellegrino has shown himself to have character, and I like that about him.

Anybody can conduct themselves with dignity when things are going well; to do so when everything is going wrong and life seems to conspire against you, takes real backbone. That's one quality he has which is notably absent in many of our fans.

Yet it was a cup game, we won, and he still gets **** on here.

As you say, perhaps that should be saved for the league and based purely on results then, yeah...

I was at a gig last night so didn't hear the WBA result until mid-night. As satisfying as it is to see Liverpool lose, this looked like a surprising improvement in form by WBA and I am not sure that we will get anything at the Hawthorns. We have got a squad good enough to stay up yet my concern is more to do with the manager than the playing staff - assuming that Carrillo is the answer to our prayers. Couldn't tell yesterday and he hardly saw anything of the ball.

You have virtually solved the problem, Maya was brought on to bolster the right side of the defence where Cedric was struggling, trying to run off a knock. It could have been Dusan or Sophie to come off at the time, playing both is always a bit of a luxury item. I thought it strange at the time, but as it worked it would be hypocritcal to moan about it. Watford were frustrated by our tactics and mostly relied on wayward long range hit and hope shots and weren't good enough to take advantage.

I think I was about the same time Ian. Not sure I’d want us to go back to Koeman, but wouldn’t scream murder if the club did it.

I hope that William Tell’s post above comes true. That would be great if he did turn it around. That could happen but I haven’t seen enough from him to suggest he would. He’s not been all bad, but not good enough over all so far.

Not sure player recruitment is that bad or different to three or four years ago. It is always a gamble and some have been good and some not so good.

As for the academy, I don’t think it has quite been where the media frenzy think it is. Certainly needs a review.

Personally thought both our wingers had poor games yesterday.

Boufal did some nice skill to get past a midfielder a couple of times but made the wrong choice with the final ball every time. Should have got a penalty though.

Tadic again was wasting a lot of opportunities from the right and was certainly taking a lot of abuse from my corner of the crowd closest to him first half. Although at least he got involved in some of our best chances which is more than boufal did. Although boufal did play a little bit better second half with more space given by watford.

Some of the people around me were criticising boufal for just playing for himself which I don't think was true at all. he worked hard winning the ball back and although he wasted chances by taking it past players when he should have passes he also wasted chances by passing when he should have shot. He just made the wrong decision every time for me.

It is interesting to read how different people perceive the game. I thought that Tadic was one of our best players yesterday. Boufal had a good game. I agree he is unpredictable but, given a run, surely he is preferable to Redmond every time? I think Boufal needs more game time. Cedric was Man of the Match for me .

"I want" is part of the problem here, we all want success of course, that is what the game is all about. There are many reasons why we won't or don't get what we want. It is how you cope with failure that matters. I have found it is easier to cope with it by staying tolerant and looking for reasons, rather than getting in a strop and throwing the toys out of the pram. I also stick by the mantra that I want to support my Club rather than troll out the same old negative clap trap which is often fueled by being misinformed and poor attitude from "fans" that have forgotten how to support their Club. By all means vent your spleen if that is what rocks your boat, does it really make you feel better though? Perhaps putting a sensible debate across and listening to the responses may help you figure things out and cause you less angst?

Given the amount of teams that have changed managers, we are not the only ones who have recruitment 'wrong'

And I still don't feel that Puel was a bad choice, but we won't go there again.

Interesting. Both Boufal and Tadic are very frustrating at times, but they are our two most creative players, and easily the most entertaining to watch.

There was one moment when we saw both sides of Boufal; he effortlessly controlled a cross field ball dropping out of the sky, then in the absence of any Watford player getting toght, turned and beat himself, putting the ball needlessly out of play. In general though, watching him skip through two or three defenders repeatedly was a joy, even if it kept coming to nothing.

I thought Tadic had a good game on the whole. He is the one player in our squad who consistently shows the ability to read the game and think a yard ahead of everyone else on the pitch. He'd be the first name on every teamsheet for me.

Both did their share of defending, no complaints there. Frustrating, yes, but if we have any players in our squad with top 6 quality, it's those two.
