Just seen the goals on bbc website. The first one is shocking from taa, wimped out the tackle but the gap between VVD and Moreno is ridiculous. If Moreno is tighter to his cb then the gap isn’t there for him to run into. 2nd one, Moreno is marking man, let’s him go so VVD has to pick him up then no one bothers to track the guy running into the box. 3rd one. Jesus where to start, Moreno is playing cm. Can is playing lb but badly. Then Matip just has to kick it clear and ****s up somehow. Part of the problem is. That kind of defending has gone on so long it’s become the norm and it seems like players have no pride in keeping clean sheets. Look at Carra, Terry, Azpi, even the lower teams like dunk, Duffy, the 2 Burnley cbs. All of them will throw everything in front of the ball to try stop a goal, our lot just don’t seem fussed and it’s almost accepted by management.
tbf the bench wouldn't look out of place as swansea's bench. How FSG can think that a squad with that bench can win trophies is beyond me.
