We just knocked out a team that knocked out the team that should not have beat us back in 2014.

Henriksen played a good game in midfield - good to have a player not constantly giving the ball away - hopefully he keeps his place and the booboys shut it and admit they were wrong about him

A lot of players had one of their best performances of the season. Hector was steady, Henricksen looked interested and Stewart was constantly winning the ball in the centre.

    Great performance.

Karankas post match comments included this, 'we have to remember most of hull city's players are premier league players'.....lack of research there old chum, not a single pl regular in that team today, beaten by a team of misfits, loanees and cheap replacement for the good players we lost. Newport at home next round.

It was a very good performance from City - they pressed Forest hard and generally looked more positive when moving the ball forward. Everyone played their part but along with Bowen there were excellent contributions from Mazuch, Irvine and Diomande - plus a couple of brilliant saves from Marshall. An unexpectedly enjoyable game.

Why did Adkins ever move Bowen?

He scored 10 goals in 20 games on the right wing? What genius thinks its a good idea to move him to the left?

Good win for us, I really hope this gives us confidence to smash Leeds.

Same here, just got in, great day out. Proper old time City, reminded me of the time we beat Chelsea at Boothferry Park in the 80's. Only the diehards saw that one too.
Backs to the wall, over 4,000 away fans for their cup final and the 200 or so home fans spread thinly out in E1 and E2 really took the Mick out of them and gave the team some tremendous vocal support. Loved every minute of it and we quite easily could have been 5-0 up before Double European Cup Winners Forest scored a late consolation goal. Every one of our player played their hearts out. It was a fabulous performance.
Those that couldn't be bothered ( see earlier posts) or chose to spend Saturday afternoon in Asda or watching football focus missed a classic Hull City FA Cup win. Also, seriously, how much of the £10 admission fee today do the boycotters think would have found it's way to the Allams back pocket ?
After costs, which includes policing etc I'd guess the club would have done well to break even today.
One for the memory, personally I loved it from start to finish.
