We have to be careful we don't get done over...Spursy is never far away. The bench should have our big hitters on it and if they are needed they should be thrown on with 30 to go not 8 minutes left. There's a week between this game and our next I think? Was listening to the radio and they were talking about how the likes of Messi/Ronaldo don't miss the 'meaningless' cup ties and if they do it's an exception not a rule. I hope we put out a strong outfit and we smash Newport, for our own good.
Going 2-0 to us. Let's take this seriously please..I'd love a final at 'home' and a trophy to take to our new stadium COYS
You wait. We’ll get Chelsea away in the next round, get knocked out, and then to top it off, we’ll see Arsenal beat city in the carabao cup final.
Knowing Levy, he will just pop down to the local timber merchants and reinforce it with a couple of 2 by 4's and a handful of nails £6 job done
From the OS Our substitutes - Paulo Gazzaniga, Davinson Sanchez, Ben Davies, Tashan Oakely-Booth, Dele Alli, Heung-Min Son and Anthony Georgiou. So we do have creativity and width in the team. Although we'd need to bring it on at some point...
It’s another strange line up. Once again, It’s got many regulars to keep it fairly strong, but you can’t help but feel that there’s no balance. Looks really uninspiring, despite many familiar faces. We did this against West Ham in the carabao. Had about 7 very strong players, but were bloody awful. Hope it’s not the case today where we labour and can’t take the likes of Kane off early. Especially with united on Wednesday.
Glad to see Kane and Llorente getting a run out up top, think we need more gametime for that partnership so it works better when we bring Llorente on late and need a goal. Really hope we see Georgiou and Oakley-Booth off the bench.
Very strange lineup . That midfield is a powerhouse midfield but lacking width and real creativity. Its a Spurs line up to do a job and come home. Think its going to be a similar game to the Yeovil - United game, a bit uninspiring. Would love to have seen Oakley Booth start today.
Aside from Trippier and KWP that is probably the most physically imposing Spurs side we have seen in ages. Most players 6ft+.
Trippier hugely important today, quality delivery into Harry & Nando needed and he is the only person I can really see providing that and as such I hope he is playing as a wing back.
