City player subbed and literally creeps off. Remembers to shake the refs hand, big round of applause for the crowd. A lesson in time wasting.
Busy this morning, so my first look at our game, and rather expected a 2-0 scoreline at this stage in the match, but I see they've only had 10 men since the 32nd min, so we've conceded two short-handed goals as they say in NHL ice hockey here.
Lots of huff and puff, but no edge and a distinct lack of bite compared to Bristol. Our crossing and forward balls are abysmal... no pace and makes it much too easy for the defenders & GK. Decision making is extremely poor... far too many passes go astray or are under/over hit. Effort unquestioned, but completely failed to make the extra man count. Disappointing.
King of Zamunda@HRHJaffeJoffer 32 DEFEATS in 64 MATCHES under this manager. 3 wins away from home in 16 months. 7 clean sheets in 64. Dwindling attendances with LR like a morgue. But 'we can't keep sacking managers', 'it's way more entertaining' oh and it's all Les Ferdinand's fault anyway.
Freeman laughing and joking with Bristol City players at the end there, old team mates aside, it’s really frustrating to see as a fan after such a dismal display. Hard not to think of us as potential league one material after that showing. Simply awful.
I see we yet again conceded one of our typical added time goals just before half-time. Hopefully we can once again attain that blissful status of mid-table mediocrity and not get dragged into the relegation battle.
