    It's just pretty naive to think that every time a player is not in the first team, it's because his previous performance wasn't up to scratch. There are myriad reasons why Davis may have been picked ahead of JWP, but I can promise you it isn't because Pellegrino thinks JWP didn't play well against Spurs.

    Yes it can, but you made a statement of fact. If you don’t want someone to pulll you up on that, think more carefully about the wording you use.

    We could get battered today and still win on Wednesday. We could get battered and lose next week. We could batter Watford and lose Wednesday or we could batter Watford and batter Brighton.

    If what you say is fact, how did Swansea beat liverpool?

    Thanks. I just read your post and replied. All it took was a reply that explained your point. Your post came across as scaremongering and gloomy which is why I made the pint that no matter what happens today, next week is a different game. Otherwise the pity party rolls on and on.

    I am pleased with the team, only thing I disagree with is dripping JWP, he is in the form of his life atm, and that gives him so much energy. I can see why David is in, as he is our Captain.

    just gone to get my lads shirt printed for the game. The printing lad didn't know we had a Carrillo in the squad and had to ask for assistance
