The Robins gave everything they had in their defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday night, and the Hoops will no doubt be hoping to take advantage of extra rest they'll have had before the clash at Ashton Gate. Match Preview from Get West London; 'There's a number of selection dilemmas for Ian Holloway, with the temptation to freshen things up after the comprehensive 3-0 defeat against Middlesbrough last week. There's also the added subplots surrounding the future of numerous players, with the likes of Pawel Wszolek and Idrissa Sylla being tipped for a move before the end of the window, meaning they could be playing for their future at Loftus Road. Ollie is hoping to be boosted by the return of Paul Smyth, while the likes of Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ebere Eze will be pushing for a start after sitting on the bench last week.' I'd love to see the young guys given a run out, especially as by the sounds of it they may be needed to replace players who are leaving. Anyone going? Any pre-match pub recommendations? Heads up for tomorrow, apparently there is no official live stream for overseas fans as the game has been chosen for live overseas transmission on whatever TV channel shows live games on Saturday, so there should be a live stream somewhere on the unofficial sites!!!!!!! Nice job Dave, I'm sure Stacy and co will be along at some time.........
Smythe still injured. Hall new injury on different/ other knee. Sylla now injured, torn muscle... So he is not going anywhere in the window.... Sent from my STF-L09 using Tapatalk
I have just bought four tickets for the game, none of which are for me. Indeed, I am now leaving Bristol, with Ashton gate in view, for London, to again return on Monday.
Annoying that there is no live stream but hopefully if it is being shown on TV somewhere it should be streamed online elsewhere.
We've had this conversation a few times now. I did one as he didn't have time, and he messaged saying he was pleased I had done it and volunteered myself to do it. He and I have exchanged messages since and 9's seemed quite keen on not having to do them for every match. I have told him I am happy not to do it, really not bothered, and so if someone else wants to start doing them, no problem for me. Just think 9's wanted a break, or at least to share the work load.
It's on the telly in Sweden, but I'll only see the first 30 mins because some inconsiderate "friends" have invited us around theirs for dinner. Bastards!
We should get well beaten today imo But where’s there’s hope etc etc Was going to miss game in France today as taking my lads to the airport as they have to go back to the UK today
I'm not too sure we will get well beaten. Be closer than we may imagine. Bristols exerts in the cup and a massive kick up the arse after last week against Boro and we may just well be surprised.
Never seem to get a result at BC whenever I have gone. I remember a draw where Flavio came on the pitch at the end and walked over to the fans. I also remember us needing a win and losing 2-0? with some tw2t called 'Christie' scoring and goading us. Both games had a trouble after which sadly I seemed to be caught up in, literally walking out and two sets of fans charged each other with me in the middle thinking this could get nasty. Funny place Bristol and a funny club. Fans all talk like Hollow and drink cider. Whoever goes, enjoy the trip as the pubs were quite good.
Home advantage will make the difference I'm afraid. We matched them near enough at LR but can't see our third away win of the season today. Glad to be wrong!
Thought I would share a very good App for Mac users Every channel you can think of plus movies etc via a thing called iOSemus You then download the Apps Slick TV and MovieBox It works worldwide no VPN and sits on your iPhone or IPad you then cast onto a Apple TV 1080 res £8 a year on one device Tested here in France and very very good so far All BT and Sky channels working seamlessly MovieBox is also great and haven’t found a film I can’t get
Something I have always wanted to do (have films/tv on my Mac) but always fear it will only put some virus thing on it.
Dave wanted to do them and has now taken them over Col. I hadn't realised that some posters were unhappy about me posting a picture of a female QPR fan on the matchday thread and found them offensive. Nobody had complained or mentioned it before Dave started doing the threads. It was only intended to add a touch of humour and light heartedness to the threads. Our own regular female contributor to our forum wasn't bothered by them and the posting of them didn't break the forum rules or even come close to doing so. Anyway, this match is a bit of a conundrum. Bristol haven't scored a goal in the league in 2018. In fact the only side they've scored against this year has been against Man City in the cup. Despite this they are still in fifth place in the league. Last season they struggled even though they had the Championship's second highest scorer in Tammy Abraham with 23 goals. Along with the fact that we can't keep a clean sheet, we can't score and we don't enjoy much success away from home, I can't see this game being goalless. Although I'd gladly take a nil nil.
