    Dream on sunshine.
    I'd sooner give MsOver18 £500 to spend on herself then give the Allams one more penny.

    If anyone genuinely cannot afford to go to support City in the FA Cup 4th round at home v Forest today PM me.

    Just a point but - as evidenced by this thread - why is it everyone abbreviates our opponents today to Notts Forest?

    The reason the ground will be half empty today, is not the cost of a ticket.

    Why not? I'm calling our new GK coach "Dixon."

    This so called boycott some fans are claiming to be on is nothing more than an excuse, staying away isn't making a blind bit of difference, all you're doing is dragging the clubs reputation through the mud, 4k forest in Hull today and our naff fans are going to be posting drivel on the internet feeling sorry for themselves.

    Hull = it's a rugby town.

    Erm, no - Wolves is their nickname and Man Utd is correct and logical shortening of their name.

    Can you see 8.5k City fans going today. I reckon 6k City fans tops.

    So the ground will be 60% empty IMO. Ehab will probably say 12,500 though.

    Continue funding the Allams pal that is your choice but don't slag the fans off for exercising their choice.
    Enjoy the game

    I reckon the s is just added to Nott to make it easier to say, rather than it being some form of correct contraction or abbreviation.

    But in the written form, you're right.

    But is this forum supposed to be a e-manifestation of our spoken word?
