I think both would destroy him. Expectations are to high. Especially with City running rampant at the moment.

There's no doubt he improves young players though and I'd love to see what he could do with Uniteds youngsters Rashford etc. who I can't help but think will be held back a bit by Mourinho.

Tactically I think he's the best coach around. I genuinely believe his team are the best drilled side in Europe.

Tottenham are a very impressive side to watch from a coaching perspective.

He's clearly got that whole Tottenham side buying into how he does things, and if he could get the RM players doing what he wants then he would be a massive success.

That's a lot easier said than done though, as your talking about a whole new level of player power at Real Madrid.

Being very good tactically is all well and good, but you need to have the man management skills to deal with all the egos at a club like Madrid.

See I disagree about the tactically thing.

What he does almost as good as anyone is improve players and get them running through brick walls for him and like you say his teams are very well drilled to watch, particularly in the flesh. But I think tactically in terms of switching things up mid game or adopting different tactics for different opposition is where he's lacking a bit imo.

True but he'd get more of that at United than Real Madrid... he really could potentially build something there.

    Not sure about poch.

He's done phenomenally well at spurs but i have always found this spurs side struggle against park the bus sides. If a team truly park the bus, they never convince that they will break them down as at the end of the day, poch has them super well drilled and organised and when it comes to throwing men forward, he doesn't like to do it in my opinion.

To be fair he's been breaking down sides more often since beginning of last year but is he really the man to push a side over the line. He has overachieved with Spurs and we won't know imo until he goes to a bigger side but even this year, klopp has so far out done him.

The thing about pochy is, i always find that he doesn't use his squad properly. Now whether you think its cause the backups are **** or he somehow doesn't give them enough time is another thing but he has a core 13/14 players and they play every game.

Fergie was a master of having those backups coming in and doing as good as a job as the starters

you asked that he wanted youth, just said we have loads of it :p. Also we're more than happy to buy more youth from the looks of it

Moyes played boring backs to the wall footie. People were hoping for a step up but it never happened. Poch is way more adventurous and has coached people who can attack and has gotten better at attacking

Moyes came in immediately after Fergie, was always on a hiding to nothing and I don't think he ever commanded that instant respect... I think Poch would.

Oh I agree but I don't think you can compare following probably the greatest manager in British history and a team who haven't won the league for a few seasons and aren't the cream of the crop at present. Moyes looked broken from day one imo whereas Poch would thrive on it.

Until it happens though, we won't know for certain.

Well I think it depends what we define as tactics.

Maybe in terms of switching things up you have a point, but the general tactics his teams use are very clever and take a lot of time on the training ground to get players playing that way.

I think not changing things up is often a stubbornness though, as they believe in the way they are playing.

Yeah that's what I meant really cos you like you say his teams are very well drilled and the way they use/close space is brilliant to watch, again you see it more in flesh, but he lacks that flexibility that I think the top managers have and that you generally need to win trophies.

Spurs think they are a big club, Utd are. I just don't think Poch is big enough, or strong enough for them.
