It is based on the cock eyed idea that if you let the rich get richer then some of this will come trickling down to the masses like manna from heaven - it never happens. Also if you look at Tory Party funding - they get about 3-4% through membership fees and the rest ? The only way you will get politicians really re engaging with the public is to cut all private donations to political parties and make them dependent on their members, as in days gone by. Also bring in compulsory voting - this makes sure that the poorest in the society also vote. In Belgium voters are required to register at their polling booth on election day (they normally then subsequently vote) non registration means a fine.

If you had posted a link to such a poorly detailed piece of propaganda, the Clique would have been all over you like a cheap suit.
Also they should check out who is funding such an "independent" observer. Obviously Soros is far more acceptable than say Murdoch - plus a Foundation that does not publish how it is funded.
Just imagine the hand wringing if you had posted something as blatantly biased as this?

It would be far better W_Y if you actually contributed something to this thread rather than turning up, criticizing us, and then disapearing.

The clique's far left attack dogs would be repeating the usual insults with guaranteed impunity.

Unfortunately I'm used to cheap suits, M&S man :emoticon-0105-wink:

I would suggest that we can all consider what is truthful or not. Many of the links posted are from equally dubious sources, but we can make our own judgements. I happened to come across it, but didn't ask others if I should post it or not. This idea of a clique is quite risible, it just happens that a majority who express opinions are of a similar mind. Because the minority do not agree doesn't matter if they are prepared to put forward their own views, but they need to put forward a properly argued case.

Hopefully much much better than your numerous unfounded project fear predictions.

Do you wish to say why the article is incorrect? They do ask for corrections if you know where it is wrong.

You have posted so many dull anti UK and Guardian inspired project fear stories which simply turn out to be dud, too numerous to recall.

Well did you check the detail of the link and who is funding those behind it? No, like all those in the Clique you accepted it because it was posted by a "well respected" by a member of the Clique. I say again, it SH had posted a link funded by Murdoch, you and the rest of the Clique lap-dogs would have attacked and when the pit-bull attacked with the abuse you find conveniently acceptable? Nothing...I will contribute as I feel free - feel free to ignore me

It was posted as a topic for discussion w_y. I have checked the site out, how it gets it's funding, and I see little to suggest that it is anything other than independent. When you see the same journalist writing for both the Telegraph and Guardian you would have to say they were fairly balanced.

Yes, I am sure you do - chasing SH on this MB must be well rewarding.

Soros is independent - if that was Murdoch?? An obscure foundation that does not declare how it is funded??. Again, if SH had posted a link from a similar site, the great and good on here would have massed against him.
