I'd be fine with a Sunderland mad player coming to Newcastle and playing, the only time I may be wary would be in the derby (Chopra!!!) but even then it isn't just about professionalism, if I liked my team mates and respected the fans who were paying my wages and cheering my efforts then that would hugely outweigh any previous allegiances. Plus you've usually got to be pretty competitive to get out onto the field in the first place so I doubt there's many who could consciously not play against a certain team. ps. I've rewatched matches and can confirm Danny Graham never actually did play for you.
I guess it depends on the player, if you're talking about someone like Williams who wears their heart on their sleeve and grafts every minute they're on the pitch then I'd trust them that it wouldn't be a factor, but when it comes to your unprofessional layabouts like Kone and Rodwell...I'd be more suspicious if I knew they were a mag. It's only a very small issue for me anyway, even knowing Chopra is a dodgy twat and a mag I still don't believe he intentionally missed that chance.
