m.t.j.sailor: Yes, quite agree really, will cease and desist from such description in future. I have known for years that they never win when 'will win' is stated. However, in self-defence, I did only say 'expected', not 'will.' Reason for confidence was that the source has, or certainly had, very good contact in Henderson stable, and had been churning out winning tips for the last couple of months. His last 3, however, including the 2 that I posted today, have not performed.
I'm not having a go at you Mick but in fairness that's the kind of attitude that keeps posters away from this forum.I don't mind if people want to post tips that they think is inside info. It's sharing what they think will get us a nice winner and we all know alot of these tips gets beaten anyway. If people keep getting slated for putting up fancied tips then what's the point really, it is a horse racing discussion forum not a tipping site.Ok rant over lol.Ps I would love to see Alex Hammond post on here
In the evening I like FONT VERT 9/2 Kempton 7:15 who will strip fitter this time. The application of blinkers should eke out some improvement and help him record his first win. Expect him to go off a fair bit shorter![/QUOTE] Another cracking shout Stick, nice drift. More ammo for Chelters tomorrow, have a great day.
Ste, it's not the posting of tips or peoples opinions etc that annoys me. It's the "expected to win etc" nonsense. Inside info is usually just that. Inside, and stays inside. The only good info I got was from an owner, who only told very few people of his info. I was in the loop as he was a very good friend of mine for years previous to being an owner, and we travelled the length and breadth of the country for meetings. He was also a very good friend of Michael Owens father and Scott Dixon, so we managed to get some great info. None of it ever saying "will win" or "expected to win"!!! I also enjoy reading what other people fancy and reading the write ups, some of which are very informative. In hindsight, my post may have come across as a bit harsh. No offence intended to any individual whatsoever.
Great shout stick i missed it unfortunately as just got back from 5 days golf at La Manga and saw Kenny Dalglish with other old Scotland internationals who I didn't know but a couple of the old boys recognised. As you like your golf, you should try it but five the west course a miss as very tight and narrow
Very saddened to read that Taquin De Seuil lost his life after a fall at Huntingdon. Owner Sir Martin Broughton called him a "Rolls Royce" of a horse and I can't really add anything to that. RIP
