Nassar gets 175 years for abusing 150 young women and children. I often think sentences are too harsh in America, but not in this case when you compare it to ridiculous sentencing in this country for people who have committed multiple offences. The courts in this country seem to be unable to see the difference between murders and even rapes which are unlikely to be repeated and those committed by repeat offenders who will never change. Time for some consecutive sentencing rather than concurrent for dangerous recidivists.

as with all things it's probably the cost of keeping someone in prison that brings down the length of sentences. Now if they had to sew 50 mail bags a day before they got fed?

Listening to the report on this a couple of days ago with my nipper (13).
He pointed out that genuine issues around disabled people suffering serious discrimination will be lost in the sillyness like this.

He also suggested when I attend festivals this year I should sue the promoters about the bands, due to my lack of musical taste, I am unable to appreciate as others do.

Super. My housemate just rang me to say that someones broken into the shed and stolen our bikes. ****ing scum. Just a warning to anyone in the St.James Park area in upper Shirley to make sure everything is locked away securely. Whoever did this had bolt cutters.

Just two examples of why humans disgust me sometimes. Why do some of our species feel it’s ok to steal or damage what isn’t theirs? Dispicable.

Went and had a cricket net for the first time in about 4 years yesterday, ****ing hell is it hard to pick up again. Also massively frustrating as you can't connect with the ball like you used to and know you can, just edge a lot, mistime shots and just straight miss the ball. Going to stick it out though, anyone done something similar like this before? Roughly how long does it take to get your eye back?

Worked in a shop....shoplifters (who complain they are poor and trying to feed their children) rarely steal stuff for children or even to feed themselves, but usually steal drink or fashion items. Terrible how people cannot live without a sequinned belt. Makes me mad because I know people on basic wage or really struggling who wouldn't dream of stealing. Saw people who made me so angry that I was all for cutting their hands off or hanging them.....and I'm against capital punishment. :)

I used to steal penny sweets as a kid, when i say steal i used to put about 13 in the bag and tell the shop assistant i had 10p's worth. Feels good to get that off my chest the guilt has been killing me for the last 30 years.

We have two dogs (see pic...it isn't me and the wife :) ), and my pet hate (see what I did there) is people not picking up after their dogs. Ours may be small, but still do huge mess, but it doesn't take much to pick it up and put it in a bin. Rant over.

Can I pick up your rant....I have a special black bag to put it in. My personal hanging offence (other than shoplifting....see previous post) is the way some people put their dog crap in a bag and then hang it somewhere....preferably out of reach. At least dog poo would eventually rot or wash away. I have seen this done in beauty spots and National Trust properties just to ruin the pleasure of other people.

My old house had a bush overhanging the road, which was a favourite spot for dog poo bags to dangle. Like you, murder and rape apart, I can think of few things more casually antisocial.

Oooosh I'm right with you there. Littering in general really gets on my goat. There's literally no need. People that don't pick their dogs **** up, yeah that annoys me. But the people that bag it and then leave it...what kind of ignoramus does this!? In what way do they think that's a good idea? I'd love to pay their gardens a visit and decorate their trees and bushes with bags of dog poo. Guess what, if nobody then removes it and bins it...it's going to be there for thousands of years. Gaaaah :emoticon-0121-angry
