The teenage defender from Ajax and a Holland Under-17 International was involved in the U17 Euros in 2016. How is that that we don't have the best under 23 side in the Country? Looks like Andy Lonergan will sign an 18 month contract with Sunderland later today. The 34 year old (I thought he was older than that) has played 7 times for Leeds this season. With Peacock-Forell about to sign a loan deal abroad until the end of the season, it will be interesting to see whether TC brings another keeper in, and if he does will it be a bench warmer or someone pushing for the number 1 jersey? Apparantly Leeds are after Utrecht’s in-demand right full-back Giovanni Troupée, according to De Telegraaf. The Dutch publication suggests that the Peacocks are one of four clubs interested in taking the 19-year-old on loan from the Eredivise outfit, with Serie A trio Benevento, Sampdoria and Hellas Verona also reportedly monitoring the situation.
Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey Dembele now that would be a wow signing .Will it happen NO why? because we have offered 3'7m and Celtic want £20m.Dembele ticks all the boxes .Heis young scores goals for fun and was wanted by all the big clubs until he lost his form .Now only Brighton and Palace stand in our waybut that is 2 too many .In any case when one considers that we have offered 4m for Tyler £3.7 for Dembele is way too cheap £7m may get him though and he could prove to be a great signing
Morning all. Lonegrans deal is beyond me and no wonder Coleman is srap as a manager, bye bye Sunderland. The funny thing about this deal is that all week its been touted as a swap deal for a mystery Sunderland player. Well yesterday they got rid of a young winger by releasing him and brought in Lualua from Brighton. It would seem money still tight, but just seen a post from WJ where it seems Rodwell was supposed to be having a trial with Vittese Arnam but didnt complete due to 'organisational issues'??? BPF out on loan means we already have cover as we signed a Polish keeper a couple of weeks ago, come on Elland keep up. We also signed a CB at the same time from overseas too and yet we see another one come in from Ajax. We did send out a young CB on loan earlier this week. But we do seem to be taking kids from all over the world, which is great in terms of helping to build quality, but this is all about making money in the long term. I hope its all about lifting the profile of our academy so that we can start getting the best local talent like we used to do before Bates screwed it up. Would love to know if the relationship with Yorkshire schools and boys clubs has improved as we lost out on all the kids as they went to Man City. Man City took our academy director to set up their academy and he took all the contacts ......... We must get to know what the plans are because if this is just about making cash ...... Dont think we get Troupee from Utrecht unless a deal has been done as part of the Klich loan? too many top Italian sides looking at him so guess a Prem side could be there too.

We know that Hugill and Marriot are actual conversations, we also know that Prijovic wants to come but not many on that list are going to add any immediate value which is what we need. From what Ive seen,we have quite a few fans quite capable of producing quality designs.I think it should be handed over to the fans to design.Create a shortlist of say half a dozen and let the fans vote on it. Would be a great way of getting everyone involved in a positive way

One story that kicked off late last night and gaining momentum this morning is a big fall out between Emiliano Buendia a 21yo Argentina Under 21 star and another player at Cultural Leonese (Sister club) Leeds are the obvious choice for him or he goes back to his club Getafe. Highly thought of attacking midfielder with 3 goals and 8 assists so far this season he will be for the first team if it happens.

They have much better judgement on ja606, as shakes will confirm Personally I use both but in reality spend much more time here, if that answers your question I find the banter here is better (even if it does get out of hand now and then). I laugh quite a bit at the posts here. There can be good info on ja606 I just find it a bit dry. Also don’t like the way a thread is started and after a dozen comments it is abandoned and new ones take over - on not 606 the threads can last for months (years in the case of Brexit threads )

Not been on JA for years, had some good mates on there and even did a couple of meets in the days when Shaks was only 15 stone and only 42 pints a night. Had some good banter especially through the -15 season but then abuse from all corners, threats even to women like Pags wortly white and more. Dare say if I went back on there would be peeps who remembered me and make me feel welcome, but I can be abused on here forfook all too because someone disagrees with my opinion. Tough its my opinion and I detest some of yours, but thats what a forum is all about. We come on to vent our spleen or have a laugh or suggest an idea or some gossip. We’re all different so when it gets bad on here I’ll just sling my hook and go elsewhere as there are plenty of Leeds boards
