Despite his local association I think he'll be a good signing and he wants to be here - Coleman wants him so I hope he's welcomed by our fans.
He’s quick, skillful and has a lot of experience at this level. He gives us another option in attack and, most importantly, is up for the fight.” Read more at: https://www.brightonandhoveindepend...-leaves-brighton-to-join-sunderland-1-8349363
Does anyone have some info on him? Does he have pace? That's all I care about really! If so I'm chuffed.
Just had a look on RTG and it has went down like a lead balloon.. God help him if he makes a mistake..
Always the fear sadly. If he’s got a bit of pace and plays without fear then he will get all my backing.
People should get over themselves, I'd be wary about signing someone like Colback (disregarding that he's ****e) because of his transfer history but someone who's only played a handful of games for Newcastle deserves a clean slate. Hell I'd take Shearer if he was a few years younger and could keep us up.
Ive always rated him to be honest. Bags of pace and a bag of tricks. Hes better than Mcgeady and Mcmanaman.
Any Sunderland fans who are against him due to his association with us need to have a huge chip removed from their shoulders. He came through our ranks solely due to the fact his brother (Tresor Lomana LuaLua) was in and around our first team. Kazenga looked like a really good prospect in his teens and was all about the pace and trickery but was one of a list of tricky wingers who just never pushed on or never got a proper chance in our team around that time (N'Zogbia being another). How good is he now? No idea. A minor concern would be that he was kept out of the Brighton team for a while by Will Buckley but to be honest Buckley is exactly the kind of player who you laugh at in the Premiership as he seems to have very few strings to his bow but can do a decent job in the Championship. Hopefully Kazenga is the same and still has the X-Factor he seemed to have coming through. Almost debuted for us at just turned 16...
We could have some real flair upfront now with him Maja and Mcgeady in a front 3. Reading the Brighton forums and they all have alot of high praise and respect for him. A few are sad to see him leave which is good. They all say injuries hampered his time there which could be worrying when you look at the bunch of crocks weve already got. He has a thunderbolt shot aswell apparantly, something i never realised. Hes still only 27 so his best years will hopefully be still ahead of him. Well done coleman, keep em coming .
I know youtube clips are unreliable but it would be rude not to put one up of this lad seems though a few have no idea about him. I remember nearly coming in my pants watching Sess on there when we'd just signed him...
