I was thinking about that after having looked at all his tweets. He's fecking barking!!!! But his quality is very good.
Seen that Grifter, what a load of ****s. I'd love it if we finished above Newcastle and they went down
I can think of better ways to endear himself to QPRFans...... Like I've always wanted to play for the R's or I've always been a supporter of QPR or even QPR have always been my second favourite team but shucks it'll do
If this comes off......it will be a momentues day...lower ticket prices...refunded to ST holders and then a signing of one of Englands best midfielders. He may be a bit of a twat.......but he will be a big coup for us as a club and a 4yr contract @ 65K a week will show real intent by the owners!
awesome news, will be a great signing and I think it shows the boards intent managing to finance a top prem player - which has been a breath of fresh air after the last lot! Up the R's
Think it's aimed for the Newcastle fans rather than us. Doesn't want to look like it's all about money.
Well... We are now shopping in a different street. Plenty of players who have (or have had) problems. At the end of the day he is improving the squad. Hope he manages to settle himself quickly and uses his talents to help the club stay in this league. Well done to NW and TF. They have made a good deal in my view. Improved the squad, got him on a free (which means we can afford his wages). Now over to Neil to manage him. Welcome Joey. Your a Superhoop now.
Spot on Gloucester - this guy thinks he's a man of the people (on £60k a week) and wants to be loved. I think he'll soon show his commitment to the R's if this comes off. Probably with a 2 footed tackle on Ryan Taylor......
Some of you guys need to get over this bad boy image thing. Rooney, Gerard, Keanre etc etc all had/have a major dark side to their personality. Barton is a superb footballer. He is a box-box midfielder who puts in 110% every game. Our fans will love him.
Not his biggest fan, but if it comes off I'll love him like the rest of the team. What a signing if it happens.
I had my doubts about the merits of signing him, but I have to admit I'm really very pleased. He is a top Premiership midfielder and WE'RE GETTING HIM! What a day for the new board...fantastic!
As is the way of these things, hopefully will score on his home debut on 12th September! I am just thrilled at the intent shown, the respect to the fans and the money off the ticket prices. Most of all I am delighted with all the communication coming from the club. We have our Rangers back and it is a new and much improved version. Absolutely brilliant!!
Moonlighted on the Newcastle board to get their reaction earlier, they don't want him to go!! Also they mentioned that he'd been playing on the right wing for them for a while now, so maybe that's where we'll slot him in?
