I do love it. But I believe how long you keep it shouldn't be based on time, it should be era related, That badge has represented good times and times which weren't so good but were resilient times. That eras gone, club needs a rebuild as it sets sale on a new period of history with the club. I think that means a new badge to go with it, and I hope it's on the agenda if a buyer is found.

i actually think the design would have been spot on if the hand had been holding a dagger and the blade had 1973 engraved on it,,in reference to a certain match that year.

That reminds me of the old definition of a camel being a horse designed by a committee!

Of course Leeds has had a Football Club for rather longer than 100 years.
The original, Leeds City was disbanded in 1919 by the FA for financial irregularities.
In fact the Club has often courted controversy which peaked with their infamous 60's/70's side that kicked, hacked and harassed their way to honours, (with some devious help from Don Revie according to many).
Then there was what might be called the Administration Years when they regularly ducked paying their creditors by following this route.

So, something appropriate to show their history?

I don't do Photoshop, so the best I can come up with is ---

Remember, this is a Club that has two statues outside their ground.
One is of, of someone most supporters of the time considered the dirtiest player ever.
The other is of a manager who, it was claimed, was not above offering bribes to opposition Manager to get a win.

Then of course there is Brian Cloughs famous opening line to his Leeds players when he took over, briefly, ---“You’ve never won anything fairly. You’ve done it all by bloody cheating.”
