What expensive things have you been mugged into buying?

    Anyone had any real bargains?

Anyone an ebay shopper, or anyone ever been ripped off buying anything?

I spent around £700 on two headphones which I don't need. Don't know if that qualifies.
Trying to not spend another 450 on a headphone amp, so far so good.

Weddings are probably the biggest waste going.

<laugh> both thinking the same thing same time.

A lad I know dropped 12k on his wedding a coupe of years ago after they'd lived together for nearly 10 years.

He walked out 2 weeks later.

Competition. People love showing off and trying to outdo their mates.
Best weddings I've been to have been at registry offices; other than my brothers which was bloody good.

For everything but the reception. Paid for the family and a friend to go over.

Thank God she's the only daughter we've got.

Sounds like a cracking wedding tbh.
My brother got married in a castle up in Scotland. Hired a top chef (can't remember but I think he had a Michelin star?) and was only about 50 off us.
