After 6 months of designing this is what they came up with ......... Needless to say the fans are pretty pished off. Football is becoming more Americanised by the year. Popcorn is even available at some grounds now.
Thats terrible. Its amazing the how decisions like this can be made without masses of people along the line of the process raising concerns. The naming of the Stadium of Light for example. Our badge. The shortlist of the eventual naming of the new bridge across the wear etc.
That's bad, I could have knocked that up on my lunch break and even then I wouldn't have been proud of it. I like our badge a lot, one of the few things our club has going for it. I'd be pissed if they changed it for a black cat on a plain red background or something.
It's growing on me but as Tees pointed out we weren't really consulted. I still prefer our old one which had local identity the new one reaks of corporate identity.
Really? Where's the history, where's the unique connection that says, this is Leeds? Personally I think it's appalling. Just wish I'd put in a bid to design that piece of ****. It probably cost megabucks!
Confused by this.. You want us to change our badge even though you love it, and we've only had it for a relatively short time in terms of football badges
