I am sure he is talented and could be a star player, but I don't think he has proved himself yet. He has spent a lot of his time defending and seems to have lost some of his attacking ability, although he often has two or three trying to stop him. £50M doesn't seem unreasonable in these days of funny money. No doubt the new contract he will be offered will have that figure written into it somewhere.
50 M is a great price for him at present as long as we can use the money in this window if not then he is not for sale until the summer
50 M for a 20 year old who had never played outside of Brazil until a few months ago appears a massive rip off to me, but if anyone is idiotic enough then why not ? The only thing is that this sort of price tag forces all other transfer fees to ridiculous levels, which we don't benefit from either.
Thinking about badge changes would anyone make ours different ? Cannot really feel there is any need to! Stands out and very simple which seems to be the theme for these club creasts now..
If the board think that our current 1st team can get the 3/4 wins needed to stay up then we will be going down unless 5 or 6 of our walking wounded and come back and start play to the level that they was .We need 2 or 3 to be a top ten team this year
