    I seen this earlier.

You do wonder though, a Segunda league club would cost a couple million so is plausible, a Championship club he couldn’t fund without a major backer.

He played in Spain so if he had any intention of doing this I assumed it would be a Spanish club. Just dreaming of Ellis Short doing one....

Nice idea mind. Who’s to say he hasn’t got backing from a big Brazilian oil company or some ****. Let’s keep the dream going for now mate!

He would certainly raise the profile of the club.. players would want to come just to see him.

I think he should be looking at a league 1 club in Britain like if he wants one over here. Championship clubs need a lot of cash these days. Buy in spain cheaply, but it's not exactly a money maker. Crowds are poor too.

I almost wouldn't want him to takeover because we'd break him. I don't know how fat he is currently but he'd be a whale by the time he sold up.

I know he's pals with Sir Martin Sorrell. The founder of WPP. Insane amount of money there. I'd be shocked if he didn't have billions.

I'd like to think that our next owner would be worth a hell of alot more than this, regardless of how big a name he is.

I'd also like somebody with some experience of running a football club aswell, and not another rich novice like Short deciding to buy a club for a new hobby.
