I remember being surprised talking to some Boro lads doing a building job near us in my local pub a few years back. It was our great escape year and I was saying how things had changed regarding our clubs, we had **** owners and were playing in the lowest division whilst they had a good owner and had been watching the likes of Ravanelli and Juninho playing in finals at Wembley. I was surprised at their lack of enthusiasm and cynicism towards Gibson. They reckoned he got all the plaudits but wasn't using his own cash and was getting businesses to fund his plans. Maybe right, maybe not. Maybe they had something in common with a lot of Hull folk who assume anyone who does well for themselves is a crook or a ****. Or both.
David Ginola talking a lot of sense, football could go the way that this sub-prime bank crisis went if we are not careful.
Did she enjoy watching Alan Brazil as well? Proper eye candy for the ladies was big Al, in fact he still is. I’m not that way inclined but if I was........ just saying like.
i always wanted to nick the arnold lane road sign in the 70s.not because of football but for the pink floyd song.and yes i know its different spelling.
I think the Germans have got it right, more fans participating in owning clubs, and reasonable pricing.
