Perhaps we could have had Kenny McLean tapping out On The Ball City on the spoons.

If Man City Sign Laporte. What a signing!! I love that player, he is fantastic! I have been amazed it has taken this long for a massive club to show serious interest in him!

I love when the Icelandic defender takes a long throw, the Bristol fans do the slow Clap, raising in tempo until he throws it!

    So good!

Manchester United’s breathtaking deal to sign Alexis Sanchez is worth around £180 million after the forward agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract. Sanchez is now just waiting to find out if Henrikh Mkhitarayn will give the green light on a switch in the other direction to Arsenal, which would trigger his move to Old Trafford.
The 29 year-old will be paid £14m a year after tax - just under £27m a year before tax - to join United, on top of his £30m valuation, £20m signing-on fee, and an agents’ fee worth more than £10m. #totallyobscene

Poor Bristol. They did so well, and injury time winners in both games. Gutting. Man City went full strength, they knew they were in for another battle.

Agreed FML and they really battled well. Let's hope their league form doesn't suffer too much as a result.

Well it has done, hasn't it. Since the United win they have really struggled in the league. Hopefully now they are out of the cup and can concentrate on the league, it will improve. I'd rather they took 2nd spot over Derby, Cardiff, Sheff United and Villa. Don't really like any of those clubs.

I'd have loved to have been in the stadium for the first half, the atmosphere must have been incredible. I live a couple of miles from the ground, and it's the first time I've ever been able to hear a game from my house.

After the problems with Sampson and the appointment of Allardyce, you'd think the FA would do their due diligence with this one. In the letter they've published since this came out, they've said a company were employed to look at his social media, which "highlighted some comments but not these". Impressive job they did!

I just hope he is moderately successful there, enough for them to want to keep him, but not enough for us to want him back. Their fans were well pleased with his performance.

There's a very good chance he will stay at Rangers. His game (at both RB&CB) is well suited to the Scottish PL. His leadership qualities and caps for Scotland make him a good fit. I also think Wildschut will stay at Cardiff with a useful fee coming back to us, especially if they gain promotion. His game is much better suited to Warnock's direct style than it was here. Not sure what will happen with Naismith though.
