Bit of a mad night, ended up running around shops looking for walking shoes for princess luv for some school thing so had no time to sort food. So it was leftovers.

Found some shredded roast beef leftover from the weekend which I reheated and some smoked cheese, made an open sandwich on lightly toasted wholemeal bread with melted smoked cheese, chilli mayo and mini pickles.

    Now that's leftovers.<diva>

We have been making Tom kerridge diet pizza. The base is a flour wrap. They’re actually really good. Made a tomato base with passata and purée with some bbq sauce in. Topping of thinly sliced onion, salami, Serrano, cheddar and mozzarella.

No like a pizza. But yes using the same wrap just open like a pizza. You bake the base for 3 mins in the oven, take it out then add the sauce and topping then pop back in the oven. The edges will be a bit crispy but they’re really good and low calorie.

Try this, mix finely chopped red peppers and onions with grated cheese and oregano. Spread a thin layer of passatta on 2 tortillas. Medium heat with a dry frying pan, add one tortilla then the cheese put the other tortilla on top, wait until the cheese melts so that they stick, flip it over until all the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy then take the pizza wheel to it.

All low fat just like the pizza but I'll bet you it's even nicer.

It's great the kids love them, I actually thought I'd invented them as I had never heard of queadillas, then someone told me they had that in Mexico and they've been around a while.

I sometimes do them now with just cheese instead of cheese on toast, it's better than cheese on toast.

They’re good. I sometimes slice onion nuke them in the microwave then add them to grated cheese then dry fry in the wraps. Great snack and reasonably healthy.

Also had a Welsh rarebit version last night. One of the kids wanted a seafood pizza with a bechemel sauce. There was some left so had that as a snack inside a brown wrap with cheese, mustard and woo sauce.

Had goats cheese lasagne with a small jacket spud and salad for tea. Was lovely.

    Bought in the supplies for dinners the rest of the week;

Wholemeal wraps, with some sort of protein added? They were reduced so why the **** not.
Sliced chicken breast - tandoori ans sweet chilli (two packs for a fiver)
    zero fat cottage chees
    Shredded iceberg lettuce
    avocado's.

    Some organic eggs to boil.

Not all at once, obvs. Wraps derived of the above will see me through the week.

A flour wrap? Is Tom trying to replace pizza bread with a thinner substitute?

Seems like he's closing the stable door after the horse as bolted. Wheat bread based pizza has approximately 42 calories less than a wheat tortilla.
