Yes, great venue, saw Georgie Fame, The Three Degrees, amongst other acts there recently. In-house restaurant disappointing though.

Mrs HF went to see Burt Bacharach at the Palladium a year or so ago. For all my :emoticon-0178-rock::emoticon-0178-rock:METAL:emoticon-0178-rock::emoticon-0178-rock: preferences my best gig of last year was film score composer Hans Zimmer.... and I've been to see Barbara Streisand twice.

  3. Off to see a Clash tribute band at the 100 club next Saturday. They are doing Give 'em Enough Rope from start to finish - seems quite apt this morning

Mme Yorkie likes Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam who we went to see last year and was very good...

I laso went to see Brian Wilson, who is a little frail now, but he and his band did a heartwarming beach boys set

Then later in the year to see my old fave Neil Young who did some great classics and ended with 15 minutes of electric jamming <ouch>

The girl singer desperately needs some strepsil lozenges.

She takes a bit of getting used to, eh? You wouldn't know it was a girl if you only listened to them. Vocally she's not my thing but it's an afternoon out with my Best Man and I'm looking forward to this gig!
Also lined up are Rambert (contemporary ballet, had freebies in 2016 to see them, first in the queue upon announcement this time!), Blood Brothers, Think Floyd and Foo Fighters... can't say I'm not eclectic.

I know that this song is mainly associated with the Police, but I've just read a Harry Potter Fan Fiction based on this version:

I used to frequent the Pavilion in the late sixties wearing a 3 piece grey suit tailor made at BURTONS, I thought I looked good anyway!!

It must have worked, it was where I met my wife 50 years ago on March 2nd. I've told her I will take her out for a meal to celebrate.

What do you think guys, Subway or splash out on a McDonalds?
