Text Speak, and why it should be banned

Text speak shouldn't be banned mainly cause it's hard to get some Tweets on Twitter under 140 characters without using it.

 

Twitter? If you aren't a 12 year old wee lassie you should be ashamed of yerself.

 

Actually I do the tweets for the charity I work for.

Edit: Although I do admit, it pains to me use text speak but sometimes it's a necessity unfortunately.

 

I don't think that they should be banned, because they make people **** up in amusing ways.

A woman supposedly sent this is response to hearing about someone's bereavement:

She believed that LOL stood for Lots Of Love.

 

I can do basic Text speak when on a phone. 'U' instead of 'you' etc... but I refuse to spk lyk a m0ng inn1t
