Kyle goes into quarter final after beating Seppi 3=1. Looks the real deal....amazing at finding the line and those 25 aces doesn't hurt either.
If Chung goes on to beat Djokovic, which he should given the age difference and level of fitness between the two, and progresses to win the Oz, I think he would be the first male player from Asia to win a slam. I would love someone from the sub-Continent and Africa to emerge as well in a game dominated by Europeans and Americans.
Time for Dimitrov to prove that he is a top player!! Having said that I have a feeling Chung will win the whole tournament, beating Nadal in the final (fitness, age, as well as ability will come into play here).
Well done indeed. If he has to meet Rafa, fitness and youth, strength and no little skill are to his advantage. He can do it. Vamos Kyle and Chung!!
I cannot see AM regaining that slot any time soon. I wonder if a career in doubles would give him a new lease of life, as he will find it hard to cope with the likes of Chung who are fast, fit, and powerful with no little skill to help them along. Chung to win on Sunday along with Maddison Keys.
Andy Murray will undoubtedly move into tennis development....if not coaching direct, I can see him setting up a tennis school or being involved in sponsorship. He is outspoken on the failure of British tennis to bring more players through. He went to visit the new tennis centre set up by the LTA and was shocked to find all the courts empty...he wanted someone to give him some practice and no players were there.
