    Just got in from seeing “Darkest Hour”. Utterly compelling viewing, and if Gary Oldman doesn’t get Best Actor in the Oscars I’ll eat my trousers. Every pair.

    I could watch it again already. It’s like a thriller where you know the outcome but it’s so brilliantly done you have to watch every second and just go “wow, how did he do that?”

    Saw ‘Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri’ this afternoon. Fantastically written tragic black comedy drama. Great script, and excellent performances by all (Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell).

    Just finished watching it. Chilco you are 100% correct. Totally absorbing, even though you know what is going to happen. I will not eat my trousers though ;)
