If we had nobody to replace him (and we didn't) we simply shouldn't have let Ford go until the summer. What was worst case scenario? He'll sulk? So what? How are we better of? FSG are £145m better off, and the interest on that for six months...

    Bad day at the office.

All teams bar city have them.

Still 4th with plenty left to play for.

Let's hope the Swans show the same steel against the Arse, who are ****e away and the Spuds have Utd.

Stick your stats up your arse mate, I use my eyes! We are going to miss, there is a reason he's now the third most expensive player ever!

My response to you was more to do with your "I told you so" after one game. I think you'll be proved right but give it a little bit of time ffs. It's not like you'll influence anything!

Liverpool are a side renowned for their gung-ho charge mentality which is instilled from your Manager. He loves the charge of the life brigade stuff and when it pays off it's great to watch. Fans love it and if he could win 5 - 4 every match he'd be in seventh heaven. But, it takes two to tango as they say and to achieve this you do have to have an opposition willing to play fall guy for you. Swansea clearly weren't playing ball with this and did exactly what they needed to do to get some points on the board. Whilst it is crap to watch you can hardly blame them in their position can you. I seem to remember it was the same last season for you where you had difficulty in getting results against teams who defended and the longer that season went on the more teams did it when the penny dropped. Management need to have a plan B when it comes to this tactic but sadly they don't seem to be able to change to sort it out. In the meantime the posts on forums revert to last seasons main gripe even if most can see what is going wrong all over again. What I don't get is why your management can't seem to suss this out. He just moans that the opposition isn't playing his football. Did they never play park the bus in Germany?

Maybe they don't as much as in the Premiership where there is a fear of relegation and £££££s lost. Klopp does need to rethink. It is surprising that he hasn't by now.

Seriously, I can’t stand Gini. This guy offers ZERO on the ball.

The fact united are second tells you all you need to know about how you need to play in this league to win games. Like it or not. Sometimes I think Liverpool wasn’t meant for the English leagues.

Swansea's crowd were like Swansea were playing with an additional man. Playing with Can was like losing 2

think you should be blaming Can.

dribble dribble dribble ball over top fabianski claim. Dribble dribble hit row Z.

Ball dropping salah just behind acrobatic row Z

Different roles - Can is sitting so he should be focusing defending which he did well. But Gini is box to box - he’s expected to do a bit of everything. And he can’t attck to save his life.

Yep true, in the second half. Stemmed from the fact that the two in front of him offered little.

Correct, as 3rd highest scorers it shows we know how to break teams down who defend deep <ok> :emoticon-0100-smile

That's a problem all teams at the top end of every table in Europe have to deal with on a weekly basis. The very best sides, the teams that are top of the table find a way to open the door, where as the teams just below, like Liverpool for example have to many slip ups throughout a season and that's the difference.

Just let Can sit and not worry about attacking (as we saw against City).

You better hope Klopp signs a creative midfielder in the next week ...
