18 days off the drink. Helped by the flu and throwing my back out lifting my heavy assed dog into the boot yesterday.

Tee totalling is just ****e.... and boring.

I'd so love a beer. At least my annual blood tests yesterday will hopefully be good lol. Stupid nurse took six vials out of me and then realised she'd duplicated 2. Sure I didn't need that blood. <doh>

Another week off drink and then I'm getting bladdered....

It prevents...when on the drink when I feel I'm getting the cold I just increase my alcohol dosage to replace my blood and it kills the virus.

Off drink? The virus ravaged my "healthy" system.....

Nope. Only honda's sold here are to pensioners who can't climb into a 4x4 or to boy racers who want a low down civic that they can modify.

I believe that theres some shenanigans worked out on the civic for this. I've always believed boy racers where using their dead grannies oap book to buy the civic cos the image of the OAP and the civic really doesn't work.

    upload_2018-1-22_10-51-31.jpeg

I think most OAPs might officially buy the base model but somehow i reckon the boy racers then put body kits on them, drill holes in the exhaust and pretend they are flash.

Think boy racers used to love the type R though obviously the Citroen Saxo was favourite for modding.

Really? One of the biggest brands over here. Other than the domestic brands, Honda probably the most common brand you see. Considering the Pilot for the Mrs. she wants 3 row seating (which I think is ridiculous... But she's the one that has to deal with fighting kids the most). Pilot seems to be the most sensible of the three row vehicles. (Other than perhaps a nice boring mini van). I'm not a fan of SUVs in general. Impractical and boring to drive.

Looked at the Toyota Highlander as well and had to laugh... To fit the three rows in, the boot was just about big enough to fit a briefcase sitting on end in, and nothing else.

    Yeah. Because they're cheap. <laugh>

Not the most reliable car (although more reliable than the European brands) and not the most luxurious cars... But they're cheap.

Honda are tiny over here these days just the occasional Jazz , Civic & whatever there SUV is called.
Strangely they are one of the biggest manufacturers in UK as all Civics worldwide are built in their Swindon factory.

They sell at least 2 SUVs here. A "little" one (CRV) and a big one (pilot). They also have a minivan, pickup, a couple of cross over vehicles, and three or four regular cars: Fit, Civic, Accord... Uh... Think there is one bigger than Accord but can't think of name. They also sell "luxury" cars under the Acura label here...

No. They don't sell model bigger than Accord. Thought they used to have one equivalent to Toyota's Avalon model.
