The advice I gave our resident ticket agents was don’t trust the ****ers to pay up. I was right in both cases.
Leeds United have agreed to sign striker Sam Dalby from Leyton Orient and he is set to undergo a medical tomorrow (Tuesday), according to Football Insider. The football news site claim that the Yorkshire giants are putting the finishing touches to a “whirlwind transfer” of the rising star. Football Insider report that Dalby, 18, has agreed the terms of a two-and-a-half year contract and is set to put pen to paper in the next 24 hours if he completes the formalities of medical tests scheduled for tomorrow. It is said that Leeds have beaten a number of clubs to the signature of the centre-forward, who had a trial at Crystal Palace earlier in the season. Dalby is expected to initially link up with Leeds’ Under-23s squad with a view to developing into a first-team regular in Thomas Christensen’s plans at Elland Road.
