No Sturridge on the bench, guess it's more than rumours that he's handed a transfer request in then. Good to see Ox keep his place too. I know Klopp likes Lallana (as do I), but Ox deserves his starting spot after recent performances.
The bench really is awful - all of the midfield and attacking options offer zero. Hopefully the starting XI win us the game in good time. Happy Emre is captain - think he is a player who thrives on responsibility.
I'm guessing ings is doing alright in training if we're looking to use him as an option off the bench and are getting rid of sturridge. Can never be sure with players that have been injured as long as he has.
Or it may be down to the lack of options now. Makes no sense getting rid of Sturridge if we don’t bring anyone in.
