P.s. one good thing about our present Mauricio is that he takes things on the chin and doesn't throw blame and insults around.....unlike other managers such as Wenger. He has had very few lucky breaks in his career here (eg Watford's handball)....yet doesn't rage on television as if the world is against him (especially the bit that includes referees) like some managers do.
A draw against a good opponent and suddenly our Monday is a lot better Helps that their equaliser was early in the game....didn't feel quite the same against Arsenal and Watford. Still mustn't think about that....Happy Monday everyone.
Somewhat surpringly, but thoroughly deservedly, @thereisonlyoneno7 has yet another chance to distil his unbeaten thread-opening powers into a single word. Just the 3 letters this time then! And it’s for the Watford game, not the Brighton one, although you could have a 2 letter word for that one handy!
Yep, no beef from me. I was actually a little surprised with Victors booing yesterday, but his wild desperate shot showed it clearly worked!
No one has mentioned the most important thing from MOTD last night....why has Ryan got a black beard and a blond moustache?
Forgot the cup match. Only bothered about the league at the moment. Relegation will not balance a cup run.
It was Kelvins testimonial from May 16 and here is a picture from that night, also it was the Rickie V Le Tiss penalty shootout.
The league is the most important of course, but don't overlook the value of a win psychologically. Going to Brighton with a win under our belt after a draw against a top side will do wonders.
That picture shows how (now that Cortese has left) the board is more rational than the average fan......who would have got Poch and Koeman together only for the firing squad.
Spot on. I actually really like the guy (Pellegrino). He just comes across as a decent, intelligent guy. Bit of charm about him. I really, really want him to do well, as I can't bring myself to be nasty to him.
