"We're going to win 5-4" from the barmy army was brilliant!

Where's the gobby Aussie who was always on here during the ashes? Not so gobby now eh?

I’m a bit worried about Aussie/Diddley Squat, a fine poster but I know he had some health challenges and has been absent for sometime. Hope he’s just bored of the board rather than something else.

I heard he had gone on holiday, though Aussie wasn't the gobby one, Eric was a little more outspoken but for Leeds supporting Aussie seems a good'n

Right. Yeah, Eric was more than tolerable. Reminded me of the old days where inter club ‘banter’ was a common thing on here, but is now almost unknown (though I don’t often visit other teams’ boards, may be just us that has quietened down).

'Aussie' or 'Didley Squat' which is what he changed his name to, hasn't posted on this board for a while. He is still quite active on the 'Barnsley' board which seems to consist of an eclectic bunch of alt-QPR posters ( among others ) who constrain themselves to random threads to garner 'likes' and so forth. It's well worth a visit to witness the nonsense that some posters come on this site for. Eric Le Merde is another frequenter of the Barnsley board which tells you all you need to know about it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Once a side has won a series or are 3-0 up at half time etc etc, they nearly always sub-consciously relax.
    It's happened again.

Sounds like it was a big toss for Smith to win, with seam and swing early on.

To get to 196 all out was a decent performance after being 8-5, seems it was almost unplayable for the first 10 overs when it was damp and humid. Quite likely that if England had won toss and bowled first the same sort of carnage would have been inflicted on the Aussie batsmen, well I'd like to think so anyway.........

    Struggling again.

Seems that after going 3-0 up they have relaxed a little....... After the embarrassing showing in the ashes we should have been looking to pummel the aussies as much as possible

    Oh well
