What good youngsters do they have that might benefit us?

I'm not being flippant when I ask this, it's just that Man City aren't known for developing young talent, there more about £50m plus signings. Who was the last decent young player they had come through their ranks?

It is a law of averages, bit like a pyramid ... in the direct selling game, double glazing, vacuum's etc it used to be the norm...
Advert, 10 apply Training course end of a period could be a week month or 3 months 1 or 2 might survive 1 might be good!
Fall out in this case is you get them often selling something to friends and family, or 1 or 2 might become canvassers so get your money back on training.
Granted academy's are much longer bigger and different aspect .. but end result is the same you get 1 player maybe worth tens of millions, a couple a few million and a load you ship off to others or become window cleaners etc.
[ is there something in place that a player from an academy going somewhere for free still has a percentage
of any fee until a certain age?]
Chelsea have 60 or more players out on loan! ?

Nmecha is supposed to be good, and rumoured on our list.
He’s not Tammy but about the same references in the game.

To be fair they have invested heavily in youth development, their facilities are absolutely amazing.

Man City do develop talent. It is done in a fashion that we may not view as development. At present Manchester City have players loaned out to clubs in La Liga and the Dutch top league which I will never be able to spell and its second division. Man City very much like Chelsea hoard talent, loan it out to clubs like Breda and Vitesse (Chelsea), and often move these young players on at a profit. Chelsea obviously have also used other clubs including Bristol City to look after potential stars and assets.

In another thread I alluded to Bristol City being a destination of choice for top clubs stars and assets because BCFC philosophy is based upon nurturing players.

Chelsea are notorious for not giving young players a chance; for them I think it is instead a way to generate a new revenue stream by stockpiling young talent and selling those that do make it on at a high price. The likes of Nathan Ake (£20m), Nathaniel Chalobah (~£5-7m), Patrick Bamford (£6m) are a few examples which on their own will at the very least break even their running costs on the academy and in most cases allow a profit to be made. The thing with Chelsea is that it's gone beyond just young talent, and it's been at their expense in a few cases (De Bruyne and Salah being the obvious ones).

Spot on this regarding Chelsea. Man City's philosophy (at least now) seems to be about developing their young players, whereas Chelsea's is about making money

It is not quite as simple as that because Manchester City's philosophy is tied into the City Football Group, a multinational corporation and its network of clubs with Man City at its zenith. Aaron Mooy was sold between members of the City Football Group from Melbourne to Man City then to Huddersfield. He played nil games for Man City, but made of profit of nine million pounds for the City Football Group by moving this player across leagues to increases his value.

Man City - CFG certainly do want to develop players, make a lot of money while attempting to dominate young talent markets with member clubs in each continent.
