Is it my imagination but did we just let in four to a team that hasn't won away all season? WTF was Phil Hay on??????

This is what I don't get, going by that tweet it sounds like Phil Hay is praising Pennington, then you read his match report and ratings and he scores him 5 and "blinked" at the death https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...performed-in-4-3-defeat-to-millwall-1-8970511

As usual, going to write without reading elsewhere first.

The important things, we have some fantastic posters on here and I met a few more today. Had a ball before the game and I am so sorry about not making Billy’s, some jumped up little nip of a steward decided to evoke the no under 18’s rule when we went to go in. I told him Ben has been in there loads of times but he just wasn’t having it. Ffs, I’ve seen 3 year olds making castles out of beer pots before in there. Quite pissed off with the club over this, where was I supposed to take a 14 year old that was safe with a couple of thousand Millwall supporters a hundred yards away soon to exit the ground?

Ben did text Neil to tell him we had to go in the Peacock (no problem going in there). Stayed until 6.30 in there and met some really fun Leeds fans so few regrets.

Home now and actually had a really good day out but, on the footie front, sorry, for me today TC has lost me. Why oh why **** about with the team. Not clever and cost us not a result but the season. Definitely won’t go up, hopefully enough points not to be in bother but, if he loses his job, he now deserves it.

Will only mention two players at the risk of boring the internet fans, PML, where have you been? Played a great cameo at Ipswich last week and deserved his standing ovation today. Pennington, not got a scooby how Cooper has played in front of him, oozed class, alas not ours, a Rolls Royce version of Bartley's Ford Granada.

Lastly, talking of class, I think the Duke is hugely respected on here anyway but today Walt, your unexpected gesture demonstrated what a totally class act you are sir. Thank you, I will keep the card and, if the ticket comes in, you and I will do Vegas :emoticon-0148-yes:

Just watched post 212 and the Cooper tackle. In my opinion a Red was a bit harsh. Nasty tackle, yes, but I believe he was still going for the ball and the incident was accidental. He was obviously reaching for the ball and he and the 'wall player clashed. The ref didn't have the slow-mo replay that we have all seen.

Nice post, feelings are rough after a defeat and it’s sometimes harder than others to remain positive. Read your post on the other thread and hope you’ll reconsider your feelings towards staying away from the forum <ok>

Think It’s a fair assessment from BL. I’m not sure on this occasion (on others he has absolutely deserved it) cooper deserves the flack he’s getting. He miscontrolled the ball And made a split second decision to win it back, mistimed it, red card.

Our lot dive around and brandish cards so we don’t deserve sympathy on this, but the reaction of millwalls player, physio And bench needs looking at. The guy goes down holding his left leg, the physio pretends to treat his right leg, he acts like he’s been shot until the card is out, checks that the damage is done and then gets up limps fit one step and then runs off.

Not sure what’s worse, how cheap the little am dram play was... or how piss awful the acting was.

Still... fooled the only guy that mattered.

Where did you stand on the previous managers? I think Christiansen has to be given credit for getting them in at half-time and inspiring that fightback. How many of his predecessors would have managed that?

We had people saying we needed to stick with the same manager for stability when we were mid-table and getting hammered, yet we're in touch with the play-offs and he deserves the sack?

We've had a bad run and are only 3 points off 6th with 18 games to go. We were in the play-off places for a long time under Grayson and Monk, only to drop out late on. Christiansen has to be given a chance to have a strong finish.

For me, if the season goes like today's game and we give our all but come up short in the end, then he deserves another season. If it peters out then we should look to a proven manager like Mark Hughes.

I've always liked the look of Lasogga, fans never give players the chance to build their fitness up and play themselves into form, it was the same with Chris Wood. He was getting stick for missing chances today, but he was getting into good positions and I felt he'd score eventually, just like it was with Wood.

Pennington was immense. He seems to have a great attitude, I think Christiansen rates him but Cooper and Jansson were doing well enough to keep him out. If he plays as well as he did today then he should keep Cooper out for the rest of the season. His contract is up in the summer, I wonder if a deal is in place to sign him permanently?

Thank you, appreciated. Yes, feelings are rough after another defeat and 14 hour day supporting my club. Loads of positives yesterday (guys from here, great match, crackling atmosphere) but made the mistake of coming on here to read some of the obvious. Will change a few settings and see how that goes for a while instead.

Glad you all had a good time - shame about the score - I did like the second half response but a shame it was needed

I’m as guilty, I complained Thomas left us without a striker with his substitutions, then the guys attending the match like yourself and LCW say Roofe asked to come off and Lasogga looked completely screwed, nothing left in the tank.

It’s the guys who are season ticket holders who we need on here putting us straight, opinions are fine no matter how negative (although we seem to have more WUMs than genuine negativity creeping in) it’s refreshing to learn you were wrong (me not you) when those attending say “no it wasn’t like that”. I can’t speak for others but I know I do take it all in.

Nice to know you’ll still be posting <ok>
