Man U stumble over the line for another lucky win, that's the kind of luck that will get them a CL place, and IF that's the case that leaves us, Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal scrapping it out for the other two places and if Arsenal win the EL we lose our 4th place in the tournament.
Our weakness of losing to or not beating the "lesser teams" has to be put to bed, we've avoided a few banana skins this season so far, long may it continue.

I'm not sure you are right about that cl slot.

it needs both an English club winning cl and arsenal winning europa.

I'm hopeful of salah scoring most games to drive us on.

 

presumably sams playing a 4-3-3. In the middle 3, gueye, schneiderlin, siggurdson, rooney, davies for me are all better than mccarthy

 

Man U have been lucky this season mito, there has been games were they've dominated and won and there's been a few games like today we're they've scraped a win from a game that could have gone either way.
As far as I know(could be wrong), if one of us, Man City, them or Spurs win the CL and finish the season lower than 4th and Arsenal win the EL both Arsenal and the winners of the CL qualify by right, along with the champions and the club finishing 2nd.
If I'm right we need Arsenal to not win the EL and not to have a mini revival.

 

If you've the duck egg on the score sheet against you and youve players like martial and rashford even if mourinho doesnt trust them you will win games.

The situation is max 5 teams from one league so yes if an English club wins Europa and another wins cl then they get slots however...

all English clubs that might win cl will be in to 4 so....

say Chelsea Utd or city win it... and they are still favourites for top 3... well. then if arsrnal win the Europa there will be room for 4th.

the only way it's a problem is if spurs win it in 5th

but reality check.. none of the English clubs will beat Barca or psg.

 

Like no English club would beat the mighty AC Milan.

That's a pretty desperate attempt to be pessimistic at any price.

 

Harry Kane is without doubt a great talent and a fantastic goalscorer, Spurs fans are convinced he loves their club so much he'll stay there until retirement despite him being on low wages compared to lesser players at other clubs at home and abroad.

One stat missing is that none of his goals has been the winning or a contributing goal to a trophy win, and as with the low wages the lack of trophies will see him move onwards and upwards elsewhere.

 

Great player but can't afford to hang around too much longer if he want's to be remembered.

I was reading the comments and saw yours, was going to add my stat about the lack of goals per trophies but the ropes on their board would be like rabid dogs if I dared to post it.
