I thought he got all the yellows for diving right. All this 'there was contact' is bollocks. A dive is a dive.
Did anyone see that James McCarthy suffered an horrific double leg break in the game v West Brom. Rondon was about to take a shot when McCarthy challenged him which resulted in Rondon kicking the back of McCarthy's leg instantly snapping it. Rondon ended up in tears over the incident. I wish the lad well. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Jesus. I’m half watching MOTD, don’t think this game has been on yet. Not sure if they will show it in this graphic detail, hope not. Hasn’t he just come back from a long injury?
I wasn't there for that, was it against Fulham away? I do recall someone on here ( maybe you or Soops ) stating that they could hear the crack from the terrace.
Yeah, Fulham away. I don't remember hearing the crack, but the sight of Busby's lower leg at right-angles to his knee made me pass out!
Good match Saints vs. Spurs today in the rain. Alex McCarthy seems to have finally come good as a #1 Premier League keeper - I note the commentators mentioned his time with Reading & Palace, but not us, where he went stale, and should have been used more my opinion, rather than sitting on the bench, with Rob Green as our #1. So only 3 apearances that season. My Sunday afternoons in the pub are mostly spent with two Gooners, a Spurs fan and a Hammer, with occasional cameos from various other PL supporters, one Leeds fan and maybe one or two from the club whose name shall not be spoken. They are always polite enough to ask how 'the Rs' got on - you would think they might know, but they plainly have little interest - and then the conversation will turn to the torment that poor Arsenal fans are currently having to suffer (no Champions League ffs!) or to how terrible it is to have endure watching games at the London Stadium. It's absolutely heart-rending. After yesterday's debacle at LR, however, I was moved to have a little rant today about how they DON'T KNOW THEY'RE ****ING BORN!! In football terms, they are self-entitled tossers. Remind you of anyone?
Really tight in the Prem, starting to look like the Champio with just 6 points separating 9th from a relegation place at the moment.
Anyone watching the NFL? Tight match at New England with the serial punchbags Jacksonville leading 17-10. They're owned by the guy who bought Fulham...
Jacksonville underdogs but by no means punch bags, they’ve have a great season and their defence is outstanding. As far as I understand it.
