No complaints, entertaining game, team put in a shift. Sub goalie did ok. I thought Watson was good today. Richarlison needs to cross the ball at first opportunity, tries to go too far. Troy seems to be happier which is good. Not sure how we can do better given the injuries. Thanks for your company, enjoy the rest of the w/e guys.
Harsh scoreline if difficult to argue against the result overall. Shocking lunge for the penalty and he gave Probert a decision to make which was only ever going one way like vardy himself. Thought Silva made the right substitutions. Too many players not at it and, having watched the previous 80 minutes Okaka did not learn that Leicester work bloody hard when they have not got the ball. Bloody annoying second goal, down mainly to him I'm afraid. Whatever, we didn't do enough and there was precious little quality on display with both sides giving the ball away far too often. Not that it was not entertaining, far from it, and nor was it as bad as I was expecting, but it mumbled mid table mediocrity.
Sitting in Leicester Station with Hackney. OK promising in a lot of ways. Great start and then they worked us out.,attacked our players when they had the ball, forced early and bad passes, played square defensively etc. Really Grey should have scored that was the equaliser.[emoji19] IMO Watson did some poor set pieces, ziegelaar did some shocking balls in and had the ball taken off him a few times. Stand in goalie was OK. Worrying times, we need a win or two..... Sent from my G3121 using Tapatalk
Surely Doucoure has to take some of the blame for today. As far as I know he only used his feet/head in this match
Questions are being asked tonight about Silva staying at the club until the end of the season. His record of late is grim, yet has this been due to the injuries? No doubt the management will know where we are weak, yet can they provide cover at this time of year? Earlier in the season I thought we looked like a team that could finish in the top eight, then I thought we looked like a very average mid-table side, now I worry that we could get sucked into the relegation battle. Not really a gloom and doom type, and I still don't think we will go down, but it seems that we are not performing to the level that many of us hoped we would after the early season form.
Good to see you around Nick with your individual take on a game. I hope that you are in fine fettle and ready to put all of us dullards right.
There's a Twitter poll on whether or not he should be sacked - 76% say yes. I doubt the Pozzos have voted in it though...
I only listened on the radio but SSN have given Vardy a 9! Surely that should be saved for a hat-trick and an assist in a 4-0 win?
Never think/want to put people right -do try to inject a little light heartedness into things sometimes but as you've probably noticed usually goes down like a lead balloon here, perhaps as am not a member of the 'referees/even the whole world dont like us club',although they must be struggling for excuses lately).
Was a lively debate amongst a group of supporters behind us on this subject.. Mixed views. However.. We have some half decent players.. And tactically we looked stuck and without ideas playing against Leicester's defence in the second half... Sent from my G3121 using Tapatalk
The only good / soothing comment I found from today's loss was from a Leicester fan: "alexito 1213 Still hasn't erased the trauma of Troy Deeney's goal in 2013. Sometimes I think the great escape, the title win and the European run were just inevitable attempts to come to terms with that cruel, cruel day, but there are still times I wake in the night, still times when I have to comfort my son." Still we are sinking, yes we can point to injuries but that ins't going to get us what we need and that is POINTS ON THE BOARD. Getting sucked into the mire is going to be grim, don't think we've got the bollocks to handle it if it does happen.
