yeah i was talking about season 1 (only one i've seen).

Just had a quick read up on peoples analysis and sounds balling. I just remember the first time i watched it that i thought it was good but not memorable. AS you say, mcconaugheys a great actor but i didn't feel really really roped in.

Think it's because there was that massive time lapse when they get kicked off the case

Yeah reach to their own I suppose, for example I just ate a Philadelphia cheese and Branston pickle chapati and thought it was really nice, some may disagree.

I'm torn, depends on how BCS goes forward and ends that will swing it.

That's very high on both. It's my birthday on Wednesday (see Cheese thread), so I'm off Wednesday to the following Tuesday. I'll start watching and let you know. Billy Bob Thornton was a very close friend of Warren Zevon before he died. Warren's birthday was also 24th January, as is Jools Holland's.but I'm the most famous <whistle>

I liked both, but Breaking Bad overall seemed a better constructed and more intelligent series.

Of the three on your list I've seen I would rate them:

    Breaking Bad
    GOT
    BCS

All three are good... Not putting any down. Granted I'm in the US, so I'm a whole season behind you on BCS. (And haven't seen after season 4 of GOT... Waiting until it is over and then going to binge watch on a free trial with HBO read all the books that have been written many years ago).

Season 7 so you've watched at least 144 episodes. #legend

Watched 12 Strong ... average film, exciting in places, but worth a watch if you just want something easy to stick on on a Friday / Saturday night with a drink and a snack

Saw first episode of Britannia ... seems promising

What's with literally every car advert being car vs some kind of animal. So far we've got vs:

    Wolves
    White Guard Dogs
    Black Ram

    Ok 3 but it's weird.

Ad companies (much like Film companies) follow trends. Which is why you get similar ads/films/tv shows all coming out at the same time.
They're all trying to capitalise on what they think will sell to the consumer, they've obviously decided fierce animals being tamed by cars is the 'in thing'

Yeah thats the one, bit slow at times.

Hardy for me is very hit and miss, this was a miss for him. Decent film tho

I really liked the feel to it, slow yes but deliberately so I thought. Hardy decent but Gandolfini very good which made a difference, one of those to watch if you're chilling nothing amazing but we'll worth a watch.
