HE GOT A KNOCK and I guess Lee taking no chances, also by playing Steele, could go with Frankie Tuesday without to much disappointment! Noted also he only subbed 2 didn't want to upset things to much?
Well I give MOM to two players, one in the first half FF, and LS in the second half, don't think we would have got a point otherwise, well just my opinion.
Nothing wrong with Reid - I like him. Both your keepers made some good saves and you got a point against a better team. Your keepers, the woodwork, a swallow dive by Jerome and a poor decision by the ref earned you it. You can definitely take comfort from saying the result has "stopped the rot", and as far as we're concerned over here, stopping Derby taking all 3 points suits us fine. Watched your game and like us, you looked in need of some new (or returning) blood. Unless that happens I'd expect Villa and Fulham to push us hard. With Leeds and Boro well in the mix, the top 6 is still wide open. As for autos, if you believe all the pundits, it looks like a battle for second spot behind Wolves between more than half dozen sides, but they are far from unbeatable themselves and have yet to have a bad spell like you and us. If we get a point tonight at Hillsborough like you did last night, that'll do for now. I expect you'll be looking in and waving the flag for us eh?
Definitely a point gained there. Good result for us but we did ride our luck including pen decision. As remarked earlier, we've been on the wrong end of similar decisions and you know what they say - what goes around comes around. Great performance by both keepers. I don't think we really could have asked for more last night but I'm a little concerned at how tight everything could become by 7.30 this evening. Defeat at home to Norwich is now looking regrettable and we need to start winning very soon. COYR
They had a bad start so you could say Derby had their wobble before all of us. Bit like Fulham who will come into the top six very soon.
Well Wolves certainly aren't unbeatable are they? Fulham have been my tip for a top 6 spot for a while now - easily the best team we've played this season. Glad to see Leeds beaten today.
Both Fielding and Baker injured at Derby and are dodgey for the Man City game.. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-city-injury-news-derby-1093089
Well to be fair Wiz I wouldn't play either of them, what's the chances of us defeating M City, I would keep them for the QPR game, better to be fit for that in my mind.
