Match Day Thread Swansea v Liverpool

Swansea have presented very little in terms of resistance to any decent team. I honestly cannot see how they can escape a real thrashing.

I predict that they may keep it 0-0 for 20 minutes but once we score the floodgates will open. 0-4 or more.

 

Our record on Monday nights is not the best and it is not like they normally massive games. Coupled with the fact we have just beaten city, makes me think we will draw.

 

It would be nice if the players realised that it was a big achievement beating City like that and that if they play with that intensity in every game we wouldn't lose often.

The usual mindset from Liverpool it's too now think that this game will be easy and underestimate the situation Swansea are in, there will be some shock results from this point onwards as teams fight to stay in the PL.

 

There is no point beating city and fails to beat Swansea, I think we play better
away from home. Swansea cannot afford to sit back, they cannot afford to
attack us relentlessly either because they need something from the game.
Before this game, Chelsea and Tottenham can be occupying third and
fourth in the league respectively. so we need all the points.

 

The thing is with us though is that teams - currently - know that we will cough chances up even if they don’t attack us.

The 1-1 Everton draw is virtually a blueprint on how to get a point/points against us.

Until we cut out the silly mistakes these games are always going to be tricky.

Hope I am wrong like - just not confident.

The trend is unbelievable, playing West Brom Everton when they just changed their manager, now Swansea. Next is going to be Stoke.

Van Dijk is fully fit again and Lovren is unwell, so perfect

 

The way the league is shaping up I would bet be surprised to see the top positions separated by goal difference. Not only is it important to start winning these games like Mondays but we need to be a little bit ruthless and start going for sides

 

That or we will batter Swansea 37-0

 

Need to be on it in this game, too often after a big performance and win we'll go into the next game switched off and make life way too difficult for ourselves. It's not hard to see so I don't get why this happens with us
