Apparently the offer was 250 million quid, and the present owner turned it down.

According to the article, Amanda is still interested (at the time of the article) in buying Newcastle.

If Newcastle are worth 250 million, imagine what Leeds United would be worth in the Prem........did Radz realise this
    when he bought Leeds.

Less than 250 million is my guess, they have a bigger ground, higher crowds, and the squad is worth much more than ours.

    Understand what you're saying Chesh,

but us back in Prem might be a different story. Just getting back into Prem would raise our value to begin with......:emoticon-0148-yes:

As it would for Fleetwood, Northampton, or Dagenham & Millwall for that matter, insightful you certainly are. When your chumlie TC pipes up, remind him, he is as Leeds as you are, keep spreading the word :emoticon-0148-yes:

For me it’s a yes, some girls just look like they would say thank you when you have done something so rude they never thought they would let it happen to them :emoticon-0148-yes:

Obviously, uncle Eire will put a dampener on this when doubting the pedigree of our new players and the money she hasn’t got but, let’s be honest guys, when you’ve had a cheeky finger and a can of red stripe, you don’t really give a feck what your parents or aunties and uncles think <laugh><diva>

On the contrary I think I could warm to her. Not afraid to invest money in the playing squad to the tune of 100m per year. Imagine what that would do for us. Restablish us as a top eight pl team and no more scraping around all over Europe for other people’s cast offs

She worked on the Man City deal 10 years ago which means shes hardly the go-to fixer in football. The David Conn article shows her as being more of a Ken Bates type with her business shrouded in offshore shell companies. She picked up £10m for the City deal. Recently she set up a new company and registered it at companies house. Its got no employees, no funds, no assets just a shell. In the last few weeks this shell company is suing one of her other companies that she is the sole director of, for multi millions? Come on folks I'm a bit skeptical about dealing with anyone who plays fast and loose with avoiding taxes on a huge scale and playing games with financial loopholes without any ethics whatsoever. Conns article alone should mean HMRC and Companies House investigate her as she pays no taxes in the UK for any of her businesses except one as a Fund Manager. So pays little tax at all. People building her up as some saviour compared to the Newcastle owner is a joke. I bet he wishes he was as bent as her

And I’ll bet she’ll pass the owners fit and proper test thing no matter what she’s done. I’d imagine Rads going nowhere for at least five years unless he got a ridiculous offer

Seems she will probably not be involved as she is the mouthpiece/facilitator for the cash behind her which will be either US, Arab or Chinese. I estimate that Radz paid around £50m for the club plus £20m for ER but the value of the club would double to £100m because we now own assets for the first time since Krasner sold ER. Playing assets will have shot up too due to the academy plans and the sister club links. Radz is doing work on the facilities and if he sorts out the IT & TV platform with broadcasting deals around the world I reckon at best the club will be worth £125m right now. That valuation rises significantly with promotion as its worth £150m just for one season with almost £20m parachute payments for the next 4 seasons. So the talk of Leeds being worth £250m is wrong as Newcastle with larger gates, superstore sales and already benefiting from premier league status will be worth somewhere between Ashleys £350m. and Staveleys £250m
