    Then again, Dickson came with unqualified praise from Brentford and though he's shown signs of being handy he's never broken into the first team and now he's down to third in the pecking order.

    I havent seen either of them play so cant really judge, but on paper it sounds like this...

    We pull out of a deal to sign a experienced international to buy an injured championship player for the same price? Doesn't sound like great buisness to me.

    If Gorkss can't get ahead of Gabbidon, Hall and Connolly at QPR in the prem then would he wouldn't be good enough for us if we got promoted. He is nearly 30 so would only have 2 or 3 seasons in him IMO. I've heard people saying we need a pacy, left footed, ball playing centre back - Well that sounds like Fontaine to me, even if he has had injuries im sure Adkins knows what he's doing.

    **** all of you who are slating a player who hasn't even played for us yet. He's 25 for ****s sake, Gorkss is 30 and can't get ahead of Fitz ****ing Hall and Daniel ****ting Gabiddon you ****ing ****s. Show some ****ing support for players that wear the red and white.

    Best to leave it to the Mods to decide whether to merge or not, but sometimes an old thread can get too cumbersome, so a later but briefer one isn't too much of a burden, but it may result in a lot of doubling up of posts.

    Couldnt agree more. He cant be that crippled if he made 200 appearances in 4 years, nor can he be that bad. Remember he has been surrounded by (no disrespect) weaker players up to now as well. Reserve judgement and encourage him ffs.
